Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the GreenFriday.com’s Frequently asked questions page.

You can contact us with your questions by phone or email, but for convenience you can get instant answers to most questions right here, and there will probably even be some questions listed you might not even have thought of yet. We've gone to great lengths to answer these questions in as much detail as possible, so you can get a complete answer instantly.

*What products and services do we offer?
We are a reseller for the book "Millions at the kitchen table" which is an online book you'll get instant access to. We also sell a full marketing courses including a basic course with a 200 page printed manual and 4 audio CD's covering all aspects of Internet business marketing and promotion. There is also a Professional/Deluxe course with the 200 page printed manual, 4 audio CD's, 4 more famous millionaire marketer Interview CD's and a one hour DVD of Jason covering his most powerful marketing techniques. If you're interested in either of the two marketing courses, you'll find more details and ordering links in chapter four of the $19.95 book "Millions at the kitchen table".

*What makes our books and courses different than all the others out there?

Jason has spent over $74,800 in the last nine years on marketing courses and seminars. He's tested them to see what methods work and which don't. There's a lot of them out there and it's impossible to know who can honestly show you how to make serious money versus who's the people who are just out to get your wallet without actually trying them firsthand.

The situation is like being a movie reviewer. All the commercials for movies will tell you "It's the best movie ever made." So you have to see a lot of them to find out what's good and what's not. Also most courses are made just by one marketer, and you'll rarely find one person who knows everything. This is why Jason takes a completely different approach to writing our own courses, spending the years and considerable money to research and test the best marketing techniques under real world conditions and put them all in one place. We've also added a 40 page getting started guide to the printed manual inside both of our courses. This bonus guide gives you a fast track solution to your business going as quickly and inexpensively as possible while avoiding costly mistakes.

*How much money does it take to get started realistically?
You can start an Internet business for as low as $50. The initial costs of doing it as inexpensively as possible are the $19.95 book "Millions at the Kitchen Table", registering a domain (which is typically around $9 a year), and hosting the web site which you can get for $4 a month or so at many places these days. This is assuming you make the changes to the GreenFriday.com site yourself with one of the free web page editing programs available. If money is not a major concern , I recommend this website building program. It is a very easy program to use and the support team is unbeatable.

You can also pay a website designer to. I recommend Elance.com or Rent-A-Coder.com. You can request bids from programmers and the like who are well trained and can get your site up at very little cost and relatively quickly.

The full marketing courses put an enormous amount of information and experience in front of you right away. We offer basic and deluxe versions of our courses since we have people who are on a shoestring budget, as well as those who want to get going right away with as much of the best information as they can get their hands on.

*Can you guarantee an income? What can I expect to make?
Even if you go to Harvard or Yale for 4 years and get a degree, they won't refund your tuition if you're not making a certain amount of money after graduation. This is one red flag to spot scams out there, if they guarantee you'll be making a certain amount per month or per year, run for the hills! Nobody can guarantee that, they are just using a false claim to get you into their program.

The reason we're very honest about this is that there's a lot of variables. How much you'll be making depends on the product you sell, the profit margin, how many sales you end up making, how much you spend on advertising and expenses, and the amount of time spent especially at the beginning to establish your business. Even a business analyst, knowing all those numbers could only make an approximation of what you'll make. We have students who make a part time income, and others who make six figures but it's going to depend on the variables listed above as to what you'll ultimately be making with your own business.

The great advantage to an Internet business is the low start-up costs and the ability to work from home. Also you can put up a new business by adding a new web site or domain to your existing ones. Want to carry several different product lines, or add a drop ship retail store or additional information products as you go along? It's very easy to do so.

To be honest, I'll never work for anyone else again, the risk is higher than showing up for work some place and getting a paycheck, but the rewards of getting all the profits from your own business are out of this world when you succeed. It's really true that you're either making money for someone else, or for yourself. You're either working toward your own dreams and goals or someone else’s. It's hard to imagine spending an entire life working toward the dreams, aspirations, and goals of another person. The real thing that determines what you'll make is the type of business and your profit margin. If you really enjoy having your own internet business, you'll make even more money because you'll stick with it over the long term.

*I haven't decided on a product to sell yet, what should I do?
This is the number one question we get when people call. The most important thing is not to follow the herd or take advice on what type of business to get into, there are many reasons for this. First and foremost, you should do something you enjoy. Don't get into real estate because some well known “guru” did well and says you should. Don't get involved with an MLM program because someone did ok at that. Just because there's people out there making good money as architects doesn't mean you should be one. If you can't draw or divide fractions well then you wouldn't enjoy it. Your income will always suffer when you're doing work you don't enjoy. This is why you shouldn't get into a business just because someone else is claiming to make money at it.

Starting a new business is like applying for a job. You wouldn't apply for a job that didn't sound good because you know you'd never stick with it. Also when you're self employed, you're the only motivation to get work done, there's no boss telling you to do things. If you don't like what you're doing, or got into something just for the promises of money or other peoples success, you're not going to stay with it or do as well.

Of course you have to do something that will have good profit margins so there's a compromise, but it must be something you're interested in and enjoy doing. The nice thing is that you don't need experience or knowledge with a product or book you wish to write, just the desire to research it.

For example, if you wanted to sell nutritional supplements and made your site with fully researched descriptions about which ones work and are proven with scientific studies, and what's a passing fad or hype, customers would be much more likely to order from you compared to the person who puts up a cookie cutter site with the description on the bottle and a price. This also builds confidence with customers when you demonstrate real knowledge about your products.

I've tried many different things over the course of several years and have found that it is best to stick with what excites me and what I enjoy doing. Remember that anyone with a program or product is going to tell you theirs is what you should be selling for a living, there's an inherent conflict of interest.

Instead find your interests and look from there what to do with them. If you're creative, think about writing your own online books which you can research and sell. There's also drop ship companies if you want to open a big retail store but not carry inventory, or invest in products you can inventory and sell yourself, often at a larger profit margin than drop shippers. There are students who sell wall safes, moved their magic shop online, real estate agents who get their leads online, retired insurance agents who sell an online book about how to save money and what your policy really means like PIP and so on, and just about everything else.

*I'm located outside the United States, can I run an Internet business from anywhere?
Yes absolutely. The great thing about the Internet is that it's worldwide and we're no longer limited by geographic location. This is especially true of information products or drop ship companies that will let you sell for example, inside the US and they will ship it for you where it would be impractical to ship them all yourself from far away.
Accepting credit cards has also come a long way, places like Paypal are available in most countries and it will really put you on equal footing with any US based companies. You can even get an Internet phone like Vonage or Yak Voice and have a U.S. phone number to answer or return calls for sales leads wherever you have a broadband Internet connection. This is a huge plus for your company if you want to be able to put your number on your web site for U.S. customers to call, for example. If you sell information products like software or online books it gets even better since shipping and customs is taken out of the equation. Overall, there's never been a better time to start an Internet business for people overseas, the large North American markets are wide open to you.

The $19.95 book comes with a product and a web site, explain more please.
When you purchase the $19.95 book "Millions at the kitchen table" you get resale rights to that online book, as well as the rights to copy the GreenFriday.com site to put up on your own domain. You will need to register a domain and host it yourself, which is always a good idea since it will be your email address as well.

Never get hosting under someone else’s domain like mydomain.com/yoursite for example, since if they go out of business or you want to switch to a new web host, all promotions and traffic will be lost since you're links will all change. With your own domain you control it.

If you don't know anything about web design, it's often times most cost effective to have an affordable web design firm make the changes.

.
Some people do put the book up as their first product, and others use the marketing information in it to pursue a business venture they already have in mind. It is a great way to get started with your first product at very low cost.

*What kind of money back guarantee do you have on your products?
We offer a 90 day satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. It's a no questions asked guarantee but courses must be returned in original, re-sellable condition (no damage or writing in the manuals or disks). Of course if you become a reseller you can have the courses drop shipped , and it's up to you to determine your own refund policy since it will be your business. This policy only applies to orders placed with us from our GreenFriday.com site, if you buy from a reseller, check their site for details on their policy.

The reason we offer 90 days is first, we want happy customers. Also, many people get our courses and they have regular day jobs, so they need time to go through the material and try things out. Many will listen to the CD's on the way to work during a commute, or start their business in their spare time which can be limited with today’s busy lifestyles. We don't want anyone feeling they have to rush and not succeeding as a result. When purchasing anything it's important to only buy from a place that stands behind their products.

*I've gotten burned in the past, where can I check references?

You can check and see we have no complaints with the BBB. Our credit card processor is 2checkout.com and we have no unresolved issues with them as well.

*I'm interested in your full courses, how often are they updated?

We update our courses on a regular basis, every 200 printings. We are always keeping up to date with the latest techniques so you'll have the latest information available for Internet marketing.

*Do you have a reseller program for the full courses also?

Yes, if you purchase the basic course you can be a reseller for those, or if you get the deluxe course you can be a reseller for both of them. Here's how it works. You make the sale on your web site and Jason’s company will drop ship the course for you and do all the support afterwards. Just send in payment for half the sale amount and we do the rest. You make either $100 or $346 on each course. You must charge for shipping. If there is a refund (you set the policy for your business) shipping costs are not refundable so be sure to include that in your policies.
